The Active Web Company is located in Northern Virginia. It is an exciting collection of office, residential, restaurants and retail locations. .There are many other technology companies in our area. Northern Virginia has become a preferred location for Associations in the Washington Metro area.
The Active Web Company founder, Bob Mossadeghi began implementing Association Management Systems for three Associations in Alexandria VA in mid 1980's. It was named AMPAC, referring to Association Management Package. Since then the Company has continued to implement systems for Associations nationwide and in Canada. The first trade show system was for the Toy Manufacturer Association in New York. It was a challenging project and helped to add Exhibitor Management features to AMPAC system.
The next major upgrade came through work on IDEA Conference Management System in San Diego, California. We worked with a certified meeting planner who helped us with additional features that have made AMPAC a complete system with every aspect of meetings, conferences, and exhibitors management included.
In 2007 we worked with FISA (Fitness Industry Supplier's Association of North America), and asked them to design a new program labeled as Hosted Buyer - Appointment Management system. With the help of FISA's team a new program was developed to manage every aspect of the Hosted Buyer - Appointment special events. The Company has worked with FISA to improve the process and add additional capabilities to the system. FISA continues to conducts two to three successful events each year with the help of Active Web Company.
